The Ducted Split Solution
The EVG and EVI evaporators blend into the cellar environment: they are invisible and silent! The wide power range of the range allows large volumes to be air-conditioned without ever compromising user comfort.
Friax split systems are based on the most modern and least energy-intensive technologies.
EVG : The device can be integrated into the ceiling of the wine cellar to provide air conditioning, heating and humidification.
EVI IN : The device is installed in the cellar to provide air conditioning, heating and humidification.
EVI OUT : The device is installed outside the cellar. The air treated by the EVI split is blown into the cellar through insulated ducts.

According to the type of installation chosen, it is not always easy to reach the regulator on a cellar air conditioner. Using Friax’s RSF remote control you can install the system further away without constraints. The signal passes through walls. The remote control does not necessarily have to be installed in the cellar room. In this way you can check your temperature and hygrometry without having to go down to the cellar.

WineSupervisor is the connected wine cellar solution that allows the user to follow the operation of his cellar in real time and to be alerted in the event of an anomaly. The recording of temperature curves makes it possible to keep the traceability of the cellar.

Evaporator | Vintage
The most complete solution. On the EVG and EVI it performs the functions of air conditioning, heating and humidification of the cellar. Optimized for cellars that are too dry, these models are equipped with the HGR% system. allows to restore to the too dry cellars the humidity which is appropriate for the great vintages. It incorporates a humidifier controlled by a hygrostatic probe mounted in the evaporator, precisely managing the humidity of the cellar. The water connection can be made with flexible connections. The use of a KLPWSECU kit will facilitate and secure the connection on the water.

Air cooling units
GCH - Outside Air | Size 30 to 122
Units of size 30 to 122 are equipped with Condensation Unit GCH. Aesthetic, modern and practical groups, for an easy and discreet installation.

The GCH units consist of a frame in galvanized sheet metal and a bodywork coated with two-tone paint intended for outdoor installation.
The use of a micro-channel coil and an electronically commutated (EC) axial fan driven by the split regulation makes it possible to optimize the operation of the refrigeration system in summer and winter.
They are equipped with a tank, a liquid line with dehydrator and sight glass. Flare valves are provided for the refrigeration connection.
The safety of the group is ensured by high and low pressure cartridge pressure switches. The KPC condensation temperature control allows the correct operation of the refrigeration system in summer and winter.
The compressor receives a regulated RC crankcase heater to ensure its protection when the Friax split works in heating mode. The electrical connection is made on a waterproof electrical box. Condensing units are pre-charged with refrigerant.
Access to the electrical part is facilitated thanks to the gate located on the side of the device.
The hinged cover simplifies commissioning and maintenance operations.
The acoustic insulation of the group can be reinforced with a BNS kit.
GC - Ducted Air | Size 170 to 230
Splits ranging from size 30 to 230 with air-cooled condensation can be equipped with GCG units for ducted use.
They are equipped with a tank, a liquid line with a dehydrator and sight glass. Flare valves are provided for refrigeration connections.
They feature variable-speed EC centrifugal ventilation (maximum static pressure of 100 Pa), duct connection Ø 200 mm, a liquid tank, a liquid line with a dehydrator and sight glass.
Flare valves are included for refrigeration connections.
The unit's safety is ensured by high- and low-pressure cartridge-type pressure switches. The KPC condensation pressure regulation ensures the proper operation of the refrigeration system in both summer and winter.
The compressor is equipped with a regulated RC crankcase heater to protect it when the Friax split operates in heating mode. The electrical connection is made through a sealed electrical cabinet. Condensing units are pre-charged with refrigerant for a standard 6-meter connection.
A KBPL-GCG plenum is available as an accessory when the unit needs to be connected to a fresh air intake duct.
The unit’s acoustic insulation can be enhanced with a BNS kit.
Water cooling units
W - Eau | Size 30 to 230
Splits ranging from size 30 to 230 with water-cooled condensation are equipped with GCW units.
GCW units consist of a galvanized steel frame and a body coated with a two-tone paint finish.
They need to be installed under shelter in a frost-free environment.
They are not thermally insulated and therefore cannot be installed in the cellar.
They are equipped with a liquid line featuring a dehydrator and sight glass. Flare valves are provided for refrigeration connections.
The unit's safety is ensured by high- and low-pressure cartridge-type pressure switches (HBP). Condensation pressure regulation is managed by a pressostatic water valve (VEP), which must be adjusted during the unit's commissioning. This ensures the system operates properly year-round and optimizes water consumption for devices connected to a municipal water supply.
GCW units can also be connected to chilled water networks when such systems are available on-site.
