From the commissioning of the MPC, the unit is in standby mode for 24 hours, the symbol ❆ (snowflake) is flashing.
This waiting phase protects the compressor during the first start-up.
Indeed, the transport and/or a long stopped period of the MPC requires the preheating of the crankcase heater (RC) of the compressor to avoid a possible “blow of liquid”, phenomenon which can irreversibly damage the compressor.
However, if you want to start your equipment before the end of this 24-hour period (knowing the risk), you can stop this step by pressing ◄ (the left arrow on the remote control) until the symbol ❆ (snowflake) becomes steady. The compressor operates immediately.
